Like you, we’re all about cold-weather. We want cold, snow, and ice as part of the places we live, love, and explore. So while keeping you Warm Where It Counts!™, we're also doing what we can to keep it cool for the planet. Here’s how we’re “baking in” some good right from the start.

U.S. Made: Manufacturing + Materials

  • Manufacturing: We manufacture 100% in the USA to support independent regional partners and to minimize transportation of both materials and finished product.

  • Polartec® Fleece: 100% made in the USA and made from recycled polyester. Polartec® is also the creator of Eco-Engineering™ which sets the standard for sustainable textiles, including the world’s first fully recycled and biodegradable fleece.

  • Other Materials: Made in the U.S. or domestically sourced in the USA.

  • Minimal Labels: One single product label per product, made from recycled paper.

  • Sustainable Packaging: Recyclable, lightweight mailer made from uncoated (natural brown) kraft paper. Padding is also made with macerated (shredded) paper—no plastics. This means the entire package is fully recyclable in a standard, curbside paper recycle bin with other paper products.

  • Paperless Receipt and Packing Slip: Your order details and receipt are in your confirmation email. Plus, we're available by email and chat for anything you need.

Minimal Design for Near-Zero Waste

The cutting tables of an apparel-making facility can result in scrap fabric that can end up in a landfill. PolarJock™, however, creates virtually no waste. Here’s why and what else we’re doing to eliminate our impact there as well:

  • PolarJock® is minimally designed, streamlined to get the job done with no extra bulk

  • Both our product design and cutting procedures maximize every inch of fabric yardage

  • Whatever small amount of material waste remains is collected and repurposed, “upcycled.”
